Con 13 nomination è The shape of water il film principe di questa edizione, seguono con 8 Dunkirk e con 7 Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri. Ottimo risultato per il nostro Luca Guadagnino che ottiene 4 nomination, tra cui quella per il miglio film, con il suo Call me by your name. Tra i grandi esclusi spicca l’assenza di Detroit di Kathryn Bigelow.
